In a house full of gods, one of them is yours
Isht comes from Ishta Devata — the deity a person chooses for themselves. Not the one they inherit, not the one they are assigned. The one they actually speak to.
We started House of Isht because the idols available to us did not match the relationship people have with them. A piece you pray to every morning was being sold like a paperweight — thin plating, a plastic bag, a courier box.
Everything we make is cast to order in a single family-run workshop in Indore, plated by hand, checked under a lamp, and boxed before it leaves. Nothing ships that we would not keep in our own mandir.
- 1 Workshop, in Indore
- 128 Pieces in the catalogue
- 6–8 Days, order to dispatch

Made by hands that have done it for generations
Every idol begins as a brass casting from artisan families in Moradabad. It is filed, buffed and hand-detailed, then electroplated in pure 24K gold or 999 silver and sealed with an anti-tarnish lacquer.
Nothing leaves the workshop without a final inspection — and a place in our signature blue box.

Bought the Kamdhenu cow for my mother's birthday. The packaging alone made her emotional.
My mother has been buying idols for forty years. She turned this one over twice looking for a flaw.
Ordered sixty for my daughter's wedding. Every box was identical, which sounds small until you have handed out sixty gifts.
Rituals, explained plainly
Placement, care, muhurat timing — the practical parts nobody tells you.
